Next, describe the types of writing you will (or think you will) do in your career. Why will you write on the job? For whom will you write? What types of global or multicultural audiences can you expect?

Remember you will probably use technical communication differently when dealing with your internal associates than you will with surrounding businesses and the general public. In your memo, address how your writing will differ when appealing to these different audiences.
